The Upper Fremont has ice from millmeadow to just past open meadow past first restroom. its pretty open from there up stream, fish were holding near the tail outs of the pools and were feeding on midges. Beautiful, calm, cold day, on the mountain with 3 of my Kids, throwing streamers to hungry, aggressive, Splake and Rainbows, great time to get out.

Upper Fremont. Is running low and clear there are quiet a few spawning browns, stay out of the stream to avoid crushing eggs on the reds. Pheasant tail nymphs with a red hot spot, fished through the pools, works really well. Mill meadow, the reservoir is extremely low, fishing has been decent though. Brown buggers.…Details
